Captured by Kasku

I am a self-taught Native acrylic artist with roots in the Pacific Northwest, and my heritage profoundly influences my contemporary art. The flowing shapes and thoughtful use of negative space in my work evoke moments of wonder. I take pleasure in exploring color as I capture the essence of my subjects—whether they are human, animal, or landscape. While I primarily work with acrylic ink on paper, I occasionally create on canvas. Technology significantly enhances my process, enabling me to produce digital studies and custom-cut stencils. I also enjoy the opportunity to create digital portraits of people and pets on commission.
I have showcased my contemporary art in local and regional shows, with exhibitions ranging from Marion, Illinois, to galleries in Colorado, Louisiana, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Additionally, my work is proudly held in private collections across Colorado and Virginia.
